Combining the Road Runner bird and the Spiridon logo on an orange T-shirt seemed obvious to us. This is how Bird was born.
This new technical t-shirt is made from the same eco-responsible breathable fabric as our other running shirts. It is 100% Made in Europe (from the origin of the yarn to the making).
A durable and high-performance material: Newlife™ yarn from the recycling of mineral water bottles and food packaging collected in northern Italy, Oeko-Tex® and Global Recycle standard® certified, certified anti-bacterial, anti- odor, UV resistant, promoting thermoregulation, easy to dry, light and ultra-soft.
An iconic color : In the 1970s and 1980s, thousands of runners in France, Belgium, Switzerland and the United States wore the orange Spiridon T-shirt , a sign of their belonging to this movement which defended a new philosophy of the race: free, joyful, united, generous and inclusive.
A mythical bird: In 1973, Karel Matejovsky created the graphic design of the " Road Runner " bird, in a nod to Fred Lebow's New York Road Runners Club. Nicknamed in reference to its top speed on land of 40 km/hour, the bird (Géocoucou of its real name) has become one of the emblems of the Spiridonians.

- Graphics : original historical creation by Karel Matejovsky, 1972.
- Cut : straight cut, short sleeves, round neck, woven label on left sleeve.
- Care instructions : wash inside out at 30° on delicate cycle, do not tumble dry, iron inside out at low temperature, wash dark colors separately.
Product traceability
- Styling, model making and graphic design made in Annecy.
- Fabric : recycled knit, knitted and dyed by Sofileta in Isère (France).
- Manufacturing : in the region of Porto in Portugal, at Pératex, a workshop selected for its know-how and its ethics.
