A mythical bird . In 1973, Karel Matejovsky, Spiridon's longtime graphic designer, created the " Road Runner " bird, a nod to Fred Lebow's New York Road Runners Club. Nicknamed for its top speeds of 40 km/h on land, the bird (its real name is the Roadrunner) became one of Spiridon's emblems. It proudly adorns the first Spiridon x BUFF® running neck warmer.
