A mythical bird . In 1973, Karel Matejovsky, Spiridon's long-time graphic designer, designed the " Road Runner " bird, a nod to Fred Lebow's New York Road Runners Club. Nicknamed after its land speeds of 40 km/hour, the bird (Geocoucou by its real name) became one of the emblems of the Spiridonians. It proudly adorns the first Spiridon x BUFF® neck warmer.
